A river and some basketball.

The next update should be large masses of 4×5. All are shot waiting to be developed in tubes my Dad and I made. They should work out quite nicely. Hasselblad 500c, 50mm F/4 and 80mm F/2.8 respectively....

For a 5 month break, these could be worse.

I finally got off my ass and shot a roll of film. This first shot has been sitting in my camera so long that when I developed the film and hung it, there was still a curve the shape of the film in the back when it’s waiting to be shot. My guess is it had been there for 4-5 months. Maybe longer. When I picked up my camera it had been so long that I guessed the film was Hp5+ and turned out to be Fp4+, so I pushed it to 200. All shot with the Hasselblad 500c and 80/2.8 or 50/4. It’s good to be...

I don’t like restrictions on what I can shoot. Often, I can walk away from an idea with a completely different photography and be equally as happy, if not more. The problem is that I can’t then post the photographs and say that it fits in with the...

Call The Shot – Week 22

Big: http://www.flickr.com/photos/connorroelke/3590601441/sizes/o/ The call for this week was “Slow Day at the Beach.” The idea was that I would shoot some large format at the beach when my film came. The variables came together as the box from UPS arrived about 5 minutes before we were scheduled to leave. The “slow” part of this call is referencing the painfully slow process of setting up and shooting 4×5. Call for next week is...
